Says smart classrooms and digital labs are being established in government schools
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif the development is linked to technology and modern education in the era of digital learning.
In her message on Digital Learning Day, she said the government was providing all possible opportunities to align the youth of Punjab with the demands of the modern world.
She said the CM Laptop Scheme will prove to be a revolutionary step for the students of the province.
She added that advanced international market-based IT training programmes are being offered to the youth, adding modern courses like Artificial Intelligence (AI), software development, and freelancing are also available to them.
The chief minister said the IT course certifications for freelancers are being provided according to the requirements of the international job market.
Smart classrooms and digital labs are being established in government schools, making traditional education more effective and engaging with modern technology, she highlighted.
Maryam Nawaz also stated that Pakistan’s first unique "Nawaz Sharif IT City" is being developed in Lahore. The twin towers in Nawaz Sharif IT City will be completed this year, and a plug-and-play call center hub will also be set up.
The chief minister said the Nawaz Sharif IT City will provide IT education and employment opportunities to the youth.
She revealed that global information technology universities had shown their interest in establishing campuses in Nawaz Sharif IT City.
