We finally got to Lausanne, after getting a little lost along the way… I must say my curiosity was piqued about visiting the land of banks and chocolate, even though it was obviously not for the same reasons than Jérôme Cahuzac…
We were welcomed by some of our friends, and, after being a little hesitant to begin with, my mom and I decided to seek higher ground to get a better handle on the situation. So we put our feet on the router, that little digital box that lets us into the World Wide Web. We feel comfortable up here. Mamie, Aby and Doggy are right across from us and are having fun with the knickknacks and occasionally browsing the books. This looks like a great home base for excursions. We can’t wait to get started!
